Goran Lalić was born in Belgrade, Serbia in 1988. He finished electro technical high school Nikola Tesla in Belgrade in 2007. He graduated from Faculty of Geoeconomics (Faculty of International economics), Department of Latin American and the Caribbean, John Naisbitt (Megatrend) University in 2011. He defended his master’s thesis entitled ’The importance of oil for economic development of Latin American Countries’ in 2012. He enrolled at PhD studies entitled ’Economics and Management of Natural Resources’ in 2012 in Bari. In 2015 he defended his PhD thesis entitled ’Comparative economic analysis of oil producing countries of Latin America and Middle East and North Africa’ under the mentorship of Dominic Salvatore.

He has been working at Faculty of Geoeconomics since 2014 as a teaching assistant on the following courses: the International Finance, International Economic Relations, Contemporary Economies of North and Latin America 2, Economic and Political Geography of North and Latin America, as well as on the courses which he teaches in university centers in Valjevo, Sabac, Uzice, Subotica and Sombor. He has been promoted assistant professor and is currently teaching the courses of International Trade and Contemporary Economies of North and Latin America 2, the Foundation of International Business and International Business Finance. At the end of 2015 he was appointed Vice-Dean for Postgraduate studies and Science.
