Since the first generation of students enrolled in 1999 nearly five hundred students have graduated from the Faculty of Geo-economics (later Faculty of International Economics).
The vast majority of them are employed on the respective positions in state institutions, international organizations, foreign trade companies and banks.
Judging by the results of surveys conducted regularly by the Faculty with graduate students, one of them have graduated from the Faculty while working, others found a job during their studies, while the number of those who have been waiting for the job for more than six months is very small.
A significant number of graduates continued studies, some of them abroad, which is the best proof of the international recognition of this school.
Here are brief biographies of just some of our students who, we are duly proud of.
Djordje Vukotic graduated from Faculty of Geo-economics in 2005, the Department for Latin America and the Caribbean. After graduation he got a job at US Steel as an assistant general manager for sales and customer service. Shortly afterwards he enrolled at master studies of global aviation management of Canadian Royal Roads University. Then he moved to JAT Airways where he is still working, currently holding the position of senior flight analyst. Djordje is married and has a son Janko. He is fluent in English and Spanish, plays sports as a recreation, and his hobby is computers.
Djordje Minić graduated from Faculty of Geo-economics, the Department for Latin America and the Caribbean and the Department of North American Studies in 2008. He is employed with the Danish Quality Tours Company dealing with river tourism, on the position of a hotel manager. Djordje speaks English, Spanish, German and French, travels frequently, and when in Serbia he likes to spend time with friends.
Vukasin Turkovic graduated from Faculty of Geo-economics, the Department for Latin America and the Caribbean in 2006. Immediately after graduation, he got a job with Porsche Inter Auto S.D.O.O. where he is still working, currently holding the position of a sales advisor. Vukasin is fluent in English and also speaks French and Spanish. In his spare time he likes to play football with friends.
Vladimir Romanovic graduated from Faculty of International Economics in 2011, Department for the European Union. As undergraduate student he was engaged in a project of building the new US Embassy, the first green construction built to the highest environmental standards in our country, as a material quality control assistant working for Framco-Kolin-Epik. After graduation, he became the material and complete documentation main supervisor.
Vladimir Jovanovic graduated from Faculty of Geo-economics, Megatrend University, Department for the European Union. Upon graduation, he was employed with the LB-REV auditors in Belgrade, where he is working today. He speaks English and Italian and does recreational sports.
Ljubicic Tijana graduated in 2009 from Faculty of International Economics (former Faculty of Geo-economics) Department for the European Union, with a grade point average 9.14. After that, she did her internship at McCann Erickson, the world-renowned advertising agency. On completion of internship, she enrolled in master studies in Marketing Management at Oxford Brookes University in Budapest. She is fluent in English, French and Italian. She loves to travel and meet new cultures and people.
Tijana Jevtic graduated from Faculty of Geo-economics, Department for the European Union in 2007. She speaks English, French and Spanish. She is currently working as an assistant broker in the DUNAV stockbroker company in Belgrade. In her spare time she goes roller skating and go swimming.
Tijana Andric graduated from Faculty of Geo-economics, Department for Latin America and the Caribbean in 2005. After graduation, she began working as a Principal Buyer in EQUEST investment fund.
Tea Čočić graduated from Faculty of Geo-economics(Faculty of International Economics), Department of the European Union in 2012. While studying, she worked as an intern in Imperial Tobacco, British American Tobacco and the New Belgrade Cultural Network. She was also a member of student non-profit organizations such as Belgrade Open School (BOS) and AIESEC. Soon after graduation she went to work in China, where she is still living and working. She is currently working in Shanghai as a Business Development Executive in the China Telecom company. She is fluent in English and German, and also speaks Chinese and Spanish. She likes reading and travelling, and is interested in marketing and communications, web design, international organizations, as well as the programs in the field of leadership and management.
Radivojevic Sladjana graduated from Faculty of Geo-economics in 2002. She is currently working at Interkomerc as an Import Manager. She likes dancing, good books and travelling.
Sanja Tesic graduated from Faculty of Geo-economics in 2006, Department for Latin America and the Caribbean. In 2007 she went to Madrid to a master course in international cooperation and project management as assistance to developing countries at the Research University Institute Ortega y Gasset. In 2009 she got a job at the Belgrade headquarters of the multinational Spanish company EPTISA SEE at the position of Junior Business Development Executive. Sanja is fluent in Spanish and English, and likes reading and travelling.
Sandra Jovančić graduated from Faculty of Geo-economics, Megatrend University, Department for the European Union in 2007. Immediately after graduation she began working in the “Monbat Plc”, a Bulgarian company, dealing with the recycling of batteries. She speaks English, Russian and Italian.
Predrag Popovic graduated from the Faculty of Geo-economics in 2006, Department for Latin America and the Caribbean. When he graduated he went to Madrid to master studies in international cooperation and project management as assistance to developing countries at the Research University Institute Ortega y Gasset. In November 2007, he got a job at the Ministry of Public and Local Administration of the Republic of Serbia, and in May 2009 he went to New York. He is currently working in GMP, an America company preparing projects for Latin America. Pedja speaks Spanish, English, Russian and French. He loves reading, watching movies, taking long walks, and the most of all, travelling.
Predrag Krstić graduated from Faculty of Geo-economics, Department for the European Union in 2007, then enrolled in postgraduate studies at La Sapienza University in Rome. He worked in the UNEVOC, the United Nations agency for professional and technical education in the Department of Communications. He is currently working for the United Nations on industrial development in Vienna. He is fluent in Italian, English and French, and loves swimming and playing basketball.
Nenad Lucic graduated from Faculty of Geo-economics, Department for the European Union in 2005. In the same year he got a job in EFG Eurobank, where he worked as a Head of department for branches support. Since 2008 he has been working in Volksbank in Serbia as a manager for the development and product management. He speaks English and loves skiing.
Mirjana Aleksic graduated from Faculty of Geo-economics in 2009, Department for North American studies and Department for Latin America and the Caribbean. She works in SIEPA as a secretary and in export marketing. She speaks English and Spanish. In his spare time she likes travelling. She is interested in photography, handmade toys and jewelry.
Miljana Kijanović je diplomirala na Geoekonomskom fakultetu 2006. godine na smeru za Evropsku uniju. Po diplomiranju zaposlila se u Telenor Srbija, a od 2008. godine radi u centrali te multinacionalne kompanije – Telenor Norway u Oslu, na mestu menadžera za interne komunikacije. Govori engleski, francuski i norveški jezik i pasionirana je skijašica.
Milena Beric graduated from the Faculty of Geo-economics in 2006, Department of the European Union and Department of North America. She works as a manager in LUNA \ TBWA marketing agency which belongs to the world’s largest advertising company: Omnicom Group. He speaks English, French, Greek, Italian and Spanish. She is currently doing her master studies at the Faculty of Culture and Media at Megatrend University.
Marko Rosić graduated from the Faculty of Geo-Economics, the department for Latin America and the Caribbean and the sector of Asia Pacific Studies, in 2007. He began his career in the Canadian company Reservoir Capital Corp. whose headquarters is located in Vancouver. Marko works as a project coordinator. He is fluent in English and has basic proficiency in Spanish and Japanese. His hobby is cycling; he is a former champion of Yugoslavia in this sport, and now acts as an international cycling judge.
Marijana Panzić graduated from the Faculty of Geo-Economics, the department for Latin America and the Caribbean. After her studies, she was awarded a scholarship of the Spanish government, which allowed her to attend master studies at “Instituto Universitario Ortega y Gasset”, the renowned University of Madrid. On return from Spain, Marijana had been working on the EU funded project She speaks Spanish and English.
Marija Jovanović graduated from the Faculty of Geo-Economics, the department for Latin America and the Caribbean. She began her career as director assistant in the company Engel Marina Dorćol ltd. She speaks Spanish and English. She holds ECDL certificate. She is the member of Students’ forum for Latin America. In her spare time she enjoys with her family and friends and wants to travel around the world.
Ljubica Đorđević graduated from the Faculty of Geo-Economics, the department for European Union, as the best student in her generation. In 2009, she spent two months in Austria as the holder of two scholarships: Lower Austrian government scholarships for International Summer Program of the University of Vienna (European Studies) and scholarships for European Forum Alpbach (Summer School on European Integration).
As a scholarship holder of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Italy, she was admitted in the master studies “European Economies, Finance and Institutions” in Rome, at the University of Tor Vergata. He is fluent in English and has basic proficiency in French and Italian. Svira violinu od 7 godine, a aikidoom se aktivno bavi od 16 godine i nosilac je braon pojasa. He is a passionate lover of film music.
Kristina Ines Spalajković Vegas Aguilar graduated from the Faculty of Geo-Economics, the department for Latin America and the Caribbean. Since the beginning of the study, she was a full-time employee at Megatrend University and worked in the field of international cooperation, protocols and info center and since 2009 she is an active member of the Marketing Team of the University.
In addition to professional training, she is keen with Latin American dance, and was three times the national team representative in the category of Formation at the European and world championships in 2007, 2008 and 2009. Kristina speaks English, French and Spanish.
Jasna Starčević graduated from Faculty of Geo-Economics, the department for Russia in 2007. She speaks Russian, French and English. She started her career as sale representative in the company Organika ltd. In her spare time she likes to listen to music and to travel.
Jasna Mihajlov graduated from Faculty of Geo-Economics, the department for European Union in 2004. She has been empoyed in the company „Politika novine i magazini“ as financial auditor. She speaks English, German and French.
Itana Miljanić graduated from the Faculty of International Economics, the department for European Union. After graduation, she did an internship at the Center for European Integration of the NGO Belgrade Open School. Itana continued to work for the same organization as project assistant at the Center for Career Guidance and Counseling , on projects related to education, employment and youth, while being a trainer in the field of active job search. She is also editor of the portal karijera.bos.rs.
She is born on the 3rd April 1983. She graduated in 2006 from the Faculty of Geo-Economics (Faculty of International Economics) and in 2008 acquired master degree from the same university. She is a PhD student at the Faculty of Business Studies of the University “John Naisbitt” in Belgrade.
She worked at The Department for International Cooperation of the University “John Naisbitt” from 2005 to 2008, as coordinator for cooperation with Russia and participated in the implementation of several agreements of this University and the Russian Academy of Sciences, as well as many private and state universities in Moscow and St. Petersburg .
At the same Faculty Irena was also a teaching assistant on the courses Modern Russian Economy and Economy of post-Soviet space.
From 2010 to 2012 she worked in the office of then vice-president and now president of the Serbian Progressive Party.
She was a member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia from 2012. She is the Vice President of the Foreign Affairs Committee and a member of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues and the Committee on the Economy, Regional Development, Trade, Tourism and Energy.
She is the head of the permanent delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of Black Sea Economic Cooperation.
From 2014 she was assistant of the mayor of Belgrade.
She speaks English and Russian.
Goran Manojlović graduated from the Faculty of Geo-Economics, the department for Latin America and the Caribbean in 2007. After his bachelor, he got a scholarship from the French government to continue his post graduate studies in International economic affairs and management at Sorbonne University – Paris 3. He has been working for the French publishing house “Solstice” as manager for the South-Est Europe. Goran speaks fluently French, Spanish and English. His hobbies are salsa, swimming and web design.
Elena Anastasija Pavlovski
Elena Anastasija Pavlovski graduated from the Faculty of Geo-Economics, the department for Latin America and the Caribbean as well as the department for European Union in 2007. After her graduation, she become emplyed in the company „Pravda PRESS D.O.O.“ as public relation and marketing manager. In 2009 she was employed in „O – zone“, the daughter company of the Serbia Petroleum Industry as sales manager. She speaks English and Spanish and has basic knowledge of Russian, Italian and French language. Aktivno se bavi sportom – tenisom i aikidom.
Duška Filippi graduated from the Faculty of Geo-Economics, the department for European Union,. After graduating she worked in Marfin Bank as client assistant, but after just a few months, she was promoted to the position of operational analysis assistant in the Organisation Department. She speaks English, French and Italian language.
Aleksandra Đogović graduated from the Faculty of Geo-Economics, the department for Latin America and the Caribbean as well as the department for European Union in 2009. 1.Latinska Amerika i Karibi i 2.Evropska unija. During her studies, she performed various administrative and organizational tasks for the Spanish Embassy, the British Council, TOS and the Austrian Cultural Forum. She did her student internship with PKS, SIEPA and marketing agency Mosaic. She has been working in the cultural institution “New Belgrade Cultural Network” in the municipality of Novi Beograd, as coordinator of the program. She speaks Spanish and English and has basic knowledge of French and German. Aleksandra Radović graduated from the Faculty of Geo-Economics, the department for Middle East and South Africa. After graduation she was employed in Alpha Bank as Retail client services officer. Her hobbies are reading and traveling.
Vladimir Stojanović graduated from the Faculty of International Economics in 2013, as a first-generation-student of the International Economics and Finance Department. He acquired the title diplomirani ekonomista (ENG: Bachelor with Honors in Economics), average mark 9.45.
Immediately after the completion of graduate studies, Vladimir started working in the airline Wizz Air Ltd. Hungary as a cabin attendant, where he worked until 2015.
Thereafter, Vladimir started working in his profession. He got a job at Vojvodjanska banka a.d. Novi Sad, where he worked for a year as an Internal Communications Officer / Human Resources Division. The organizational unit change followed in April 2016, so he started working as an Officer / Corporate Social Responsibility Department, also in Vojvodjanska Bank.
His biggest hobbies are traveling and getting to know new cultures and people. He is fluent in English and Spanish language.
